September 2021 - Present
-Plan and lead branch storytimes, school-age and teen programming
-Run branch teen volunteer council (track hours, supervise teens, write recommendations, etc)
-Decorate and curate children’s and teen space/area
-Plan and manage youth/teen maker, passive, and take and make programs at branch
-Serve on various committees, such as CSLP manual committee and OLC James Cook Book Award
-Supervise YS clerk in absence of YS manager
-Serve as branch/building manager on evening/weekend shift or as necessary day-to-day
-Builds relationships with children/youth and their caregivers to promote library events and better connect library goals to patron needs
-Coordinates and leads school and daycare visits
-Represents library at community & outreach events
-Keeps up-to-date with current children’s and YA literature and media

-Plan and present fun and enriching adult programming both in-person and virtually, such as book clubs, “Make it Mondays,” spice kits, subscription bags, and more
-Open and close building; lead clerks in the absence of a manager; serve as person in charge of location in the absence of a manager

-Plan and lead Teen Book Club
-Plan and lead regular teen programming, such as Teen Anime Club
-Create content for and manage library's Instagram account aimed at teens in community
-Moderate the library’s Teen Discord server, as well as hold virtual hangouts using the platform
-Plan and implement after-school programming at local middle and high schools
-Assist in ordering and weeding YA and Juvenile books for the library's collection
-Curate YA collection/space, including displays and Book Recommendation Jar
-Present booktalks at high schools
-Assist in planning with Summer Reading Program efforts
-Plan and present all Teen Summer Club programming
-Assist and plan Storytimes and Lapsits, such as a Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Storytime or Penguin Storytime

-Assist with the planning and promotion of Youth Services events and programs
-Applied for and won a twenty-five book set of YA books for our community's youth from YALSA in 2018
-Served on 2018 James Cook Book Award Committee (Ohio Library Council)
-Created and presented "Bloxels" presentation at SERLS Workshop (Southeast Ohio Regional Library System)

Reference & Circulation:
-Assisted patrons with reference and circulation questions
-Troubleshooted computer and technology issues in library for patrons
-Operated a copier, printer, and fax machine
-Shelved library materials
-Placed holds and helped send Interlibrary loans
-Used SirsiDynix Workflows software in the Circulation and Reference departments
-Answered and transferred phone calls
-Collected fines for overdue materials

-Offered reader's advisory services (including a service for personalized recommendations from me)

-Created and distributed seasonal newsletters for the main library
-Assisted with and promoted library events
-Provided exceptional "customer" service to patrons.
Youth Services:
-Coordinated and led the Teen Book & Craft Club, as well as the Teen Movie & Game Night
-Managed the Young Adult room, which included a display of my recommendations
-Researched and ordered new Young Adult books
-Planned, promoted, and led two SRP events for tweens & teens: "Build Your Own Terrarium," and "DIY Lava Lamp"
-Applied for and won a grant for free solar eclipse glasses for my library
-Applied for and won a twenty-six book set of YA books for our community's youth from YALSA in 2017
